14th July: New EP Launch and GRS Fundraiser

Lorraine & The Borderlands are teaming up with the Girls Rock School Edinburgh to celebrate women in music and the launch of their EP ‘A New Way To Be’. The support act will be the wonderful Girls Rock School songwriting circle showcasing original songs.

‘A New Way To Be’ EP is a collection of folk/rock/pop songs penned by Lorraine, produced by award winning Jim Sutherland and sponsored by Creative Scotland.

This exciting launch event will see Lorraine & The Borderlands (Nick Jenkins Jonee Joseph Duggan Calum Ingram Ali Rahmani) play classics from their folky acoustic roots and then build into a 6 piece band (Sharon Mc Brearty and Lesley MakesNoise) to reveal their new EP songs live.

All profits raised from the night will go to support the Girls Rock School, a non-profit running free music workshops open to all women, girls, transwomen and genderqueer persons regardless of age or ability.
